WrestleMania 37 has a new date and venue, which means fans will likely attend.
The company announced on Saturday that WrestleMania 37 has moved to April 10-11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida – which was due to host WrestleMania 36 before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
WrestleMania 37 was originally supposed to be held on March 27th at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The Rams and Chargers home will now host WrestleMania 39 on April 2, 2023. WrestleMania 38 will take place on April 3, 2022 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
WWE, in coordination with local partners and government officials, has said that it will announce the availability of tickets and safety protocols for WrestleMania 37 in the coming weeks.
“Florida is excited to welcome WrestleMania’s return to Tampa in April at Raymond James Stadium,” Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said in a statement. “Florida has continued to work with professional sports and entertainment to operate safely while generating revenue and protecting jobs. WrestleMania will bring tens of millions of dollars into the Tampa area, and we look forward to hosting more sporting and entertainment events in Florida this year.”
Under DeSantis’ rule, Florida was one of the states that allowed fans to attend a sporting event during the pandemic. in October, It said State sports teams have given permission to fill their stadiums to their maximum capacity, but Jaguars, Dolphins and Pirates all have limited attendance by around 25 percent. Raymond James Stadium holds approximately 16,000 people
California on hand had very strict rules about fans attending matches during the pandemic. They were not allowed into SoFi Stadium for the NFL season and the San Francisco 49ers had to play home matches away from Levi’s late in the season after local health officials “temporarily banned” any sport that includes close proximity and physical contact with people outside of the home. AT&T Stadium allowed fans a 25 percent capacity for Cowboys games.

WWE has allowed a small number of fans to attend their NXT shows at the Performance Center in Tampa, but Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown have been held without live audiences since March. WrestleMania 36 was held over two nights at the WWE Performance Center.
