For a long time it was quiet around the influential sports manager Philippe Huber, but now he is planning another sensational coup in Switzerland.

Huber told «Neue Schweizer Zeitung»: «Its true, my team and I are working at full speed on new events», he says. «I still can not reveal any details.»

In the summer of 2006, the entrepreneur from eastern Switzerland brought the Brazilian national football team to Weggis LU. All training and test matches were completely sold out. And Huber was also the one who brought the former heavyweight world champion Nikolai Walujew to Zurich Hallenstadion to fight against Evander Holyfield for the WBA world title.

Philippe Huber has known the business for nearly 20 years and enjoys the trust of the powerful: He managed the TV and marketing rights for the national teams of Sweden, Norway, Ireland as well as England and Austria. For the Brazilian and Argentine football federations, he organized test matches all over the world, New York, Seattle, Boston, England and Gabon to name a few. In May and June 2008, while the European Championships started in Switzerland, Philippe Huber also organized several international high profile friendly matches in the United States of America.

«I like remembering the great events», says Huber, who through his events has met Prince Harry and fashion designer Tom Ford. «I hope we can bring some great events back to Switzerland soon.»
